A few years ago, there was consternation around the Galtees when it was rumoured that a mining company investigating the possibility of gold mining in the Galtee range.  Here's some information on a more distant GalteeMore.  This one is in Australia. 

William (Bill) Crossley, former Managing Director of Jubilee Mines NL and General Manager of Operations at the Macraes Mine in New Zealand, has joined the Kimberley Diamond Company NL team as General Manager Operations with effect from today. Crossley is a Mining Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) with over 30 years experience in the exploration, development, management and administration of mines, including the Galtee More Mine (Normandy Mining Group) Mt Magnet, Western Australia.
